Player Bio
Jake Meer is a standout senior quarterback for Newport Harbor High School’s Sailors, class of 2026, and a leader both on and off the field. Standing around 6’0″, 170 lbs, he brings strong football IQ, poise under pressure, and impressive productivity — in 2024-25 he threw for over 1,200 yards and also contributed on the ground. He earned All-Bravo League honors after starting the final six games of his junior season. Jake was also named #118 in the OC Register’s Top 150 Players of 2025, marking him as one of Orange County’s most promising high school QBs. Off the field, his academics are strong (weighted GPA ~3.9), and his leadership role and consistent work ethic make him a central figure for the Sailors’ offense this season.
