Frank Albers

Offensive Line / JV Head Coach

Frank Albers returns for his 4th year at Newport Harbor High School.

Coach Albers will serve, again, a the varsity O-Line coach, and JV Head Coach.

Coach Albers is a staple in the Newport-Mesa community. He has over 20-years coaching experience, at many different levels. Coach Albers has held positions at OCC, Costa Mesa High School and Calvary High School.  In 2009 Coach Albers began coaching at the Men In The Trenches (MITT) Lineman Camp with former 49er great Jesse Sapolu. Over the last decade, Coach Albers has helped Sapolu grow the camp attendance to over 100 lineman a week.  Many of these camp participants have been fortunate to receive Division I football scholarships.

Coach Albers is a dad of three wonderful children. In his spare time you can find him on non-profit boards that promote and support athletes in the Newport-Mesa community.
